About Dr. Lisa
What a typical treatment looks like:
My goal is to be a resource for working women in the downtown Portland area. I believe that our bodies can do amazing things when given the right care and routine to continue at home. I choose your treatment based off of a wide array of techniques I have learned over the years including but not limited to Webster, Craniosacral, Pelvic Floor Rehab, Diastasis Recti Rehab, Active Release, and Instrument Assisted Myofascial Release in conjuncture with Chiropractic Adjustments. I like to give you the tools to take charge of your health. In a time when our medical system has become sick care, my ambition is to bring health back to our care. Each visit includes a thorough history and examination or follow up, muscle work, a chiropractic adjustment, stretches and/or exercises with instructions for self-care at home. This is your time to heal and be nurtured, I believe this is so important and I want to help make you a priority.
Do you sometimes feel like there are not enough hours in the day? That some days you don’t have the time to stretch let along exercise? That you wish someone would understand that you can never seem to complete the never-ending laundry list of to do’s? That you’re tired of being in pain and feeling disconnected with your body? Maybe you had a traumatic birth or maybe the labors of everyday life are wrecking havoc on your body. I am here to tell you that you are worth the investment. I am here to work with you and find the balance of not only what can help to improve your life but what fits into that life. “Getting healthy” can sometimes feel like a daunting task, my goal is to work with you at your pace, giving you tools that you can use from this point forward while providing your body with the treatment it needs.
I have been practicing in Portland Oregon since 2015 and love calling this area home. Originally from Wisconsin, I completed my Doctorate of Chiropractic at Palmer West in San Jose California. I fell in love with the West Coast and the more holistic approach that people here are taking with their health, and feel that Portland has the perfect mix of this West Coast lifestyle and Midwest community.

I love working with all types of people but my passion is working with mommas during and after their pregnancy as well as their little ones. I believe the postpartum mom is sadly under-served in our culture and love to be a resource for you to have the birth and recovery you want and deserve.
