Office Policies
- Appointment scheduling: Please schedule appointments in advance and arrive on time. Any cancellations or rescheduling requests should be made at least 48 business hours prior to the appointment. Schedule now.
- Payment and insurance: Patients are expected to pay for their services at the time of their visit. The office accepts various forms of payment, including cash, credit cards, and insurance. Patients should bring their insurance card and any necessary documentation for billing purposes.
- Privacy and confidentiality: The office adheres to all laws and regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality. Patient information is kept secure and is only shared with authorized individuals as necessary.
- Patient behavior: Patients are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner during their visit. Any disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in termination of services.
- Health and safety: Patients are expected to disclose any health conditions or concerns to their chiropractor. Patients should also notify the office of any allergies or sensitivities to certain products or treatments.
- Follow-up appointments: Patients may need to schedule follow-up appointments for ongoing treatment or evaluation. The chiropractor will recommend the appropriate course of care and provide guidance on scheduling.
- Referrals: If the chiropractor determines that a patient needs additional medical care, they may provide a referral to a specialist or other healthcare provider. View referrals now.
Patient FAQ
What insurance companies do you take?
We are IN Network with Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield, Moda, and Pacific Source. For all other insurance companies that we are Out Of Network with we are able to provide you with a Superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for partial reimbursement in accordance with your plan.
Which provider should I see?
All of our Chiropractors treat similarly and have a wide variety of treatment styles. Lisa, Hailey and Alyssa are a little more rehab focused, Megan is our pediatric specialist, and Katie thrives on working with those who may be more sensitive to treatment or have a trauma history. Both of our acupuncturists work with prenatal and postpartum, do induction acupuncture and work with moxa. Susan also incorporates mayan abdominal massage, while Lindsay loves working with patients who have headaches and chronic pain.
I'm pregnant or newly postpartum. When should I come in?
As soon as you want! We offering 30 minute virtual check in visits in the early postpartum stage but recommend an in person visit around the 6 week mark after delivery. This is when we can perform manual therapies and start on core and pelvic floor rehab. That being said if you are experiencing an abnormal amount or type of pain, like sciatica, neck spasm or in babies feeding difficulties come in as soon as you're able, we have worked on mama's 48 hours after giving birth!
When can I start Pelvic Floor Therapy after giving birth?
We can start working with you immediately following delivery IF it's something you are interested in. This consists of gentle breathing and re-activation with light bodywork. We do not do internal pelvic floor assessment and therapy until you have been cleared by your birth provider around the 6 week mark.
Do you do home visits?
Yes! Dr Alyssa provides home visits to existing AND new patients. These are not available in the online booking but give us a call or email to get scheduled. We'll need your address (drive times 30 minutes or more outside of our office may incur an additional charge, not relating to bad traffic) to know who this appointment is for and how urgent the problem is, you will need to put a credit card on file and fill out all the intake paperwork before your appointment. Please have an open area that will accommodate a 2x6 foot portable table for adults (not needed for babies)
